Learn to Fly Fish
We will come to Saladin Lodge and provide a fly casting lesson, and then we will head to the Lodge lake so you can try your to catch a trout or two. Duration 3 hours, includes use of all equipment.

Guided fishing
We will come and collect you from the Lodge and take you fly-fishing. The options include small mountain streams in the National Park, meandering lowland streams, or a larger river. We tailor the experience to suit your needs and preferences, and take into account local conditions on the day. Whilst we focus on fly fishing, if you would prefer to spin or lure fish we can arrange that too.

What to expect
Equipment: We will provide flies, rods, reels, waders, everything you need to fish.
Food: A packed lunch is included in full day experiences. Morning or afternoon snacks are included in half day experiences.
Refreshments: The guide will have a refreshment for you, but feel free to bring your own too.
Duration: The duration of The Services includes breaks and any travel between locations. They are follows:
- Full day experience – 7 hours
- Half day fishing experience – 4 hours
- Evening Rise – 3 hours
- Learn to Fly Fish at Saladin Lodge – 3 hours/7 hours
Guide to Angler Ratio. To maximise your experience we ensure there are no more than 2 anglers per guide for river fishing, and no more than 4 anglers per guide for the Learn to Fly Fish experience.
What to bring. As well as a sense of fun and adventure, there are a few things to bring , but don’t worry we will send you a list of what to bring to make sure you enjoy your day.
